Cornell and those darn SAT II's

Hey...just one quick question.

I ONLY took the ACT because it's a more straight-foward and subject-based of the two college entrance exams. Lately I've been hearing that some schools (UPenn, Duke, etc) accept either the SATI+SATIIs OR just the ACT.

So does Cornell accept the ACT in lieu of the SAT AND the SAT IIs? Or do I need to sign up for those killer SATII subject tests?

Thank you for your time.

I think SAT IIs are only required by some schools inside Cornell, depending on which one you apply to. I don't think you need SAT IIs for most of the Cornell schools, even then, it might be a bit late to sign up for SAT IIs? (unless you're a junior)

I'm going to assume you are a junior since you're like oblivious if you're a senior and still haven't figured this **** out! Haha...I'm not sure what the requirements are w/the new SAT but I think most schools within Cornell require the SATs and SAT IIs...or at least CAS does because I did WAYYY better on the ACT and then I did horrible on the SATs and I had to send it anyway! ANNOYING! My advice? Apply to schools that take the ACT instead (GO PENN! :)) Haha

I believe all the schools except College of Agriculture and Life Sciences require SAT IIs and even they strongly reccomend them.

Yes yes I'm a junior (sorry I didn't say that before...lol).

I'm a little shaky on my major (genetics or business), but I'm definitely applying to CALS. That's good to know that the Ag school doesn't require the SATII's. Although they say that they "strongly recommend" them, I take it as REQUIRED.

I'm so worried for Math 2c and Bio M...AHHHHH.
