Clearly your stats are amazing. My only question is how will you demonstrate passion/interest in programming? See that you co-founded the CS club, but have you pursued CS elsewhere? Did the club enter programming competitions/attend hack-a-thons?
I know that Cornell is really big on “fit”, however I think the perception that you have to show “passion” for your major through EC’s is overstated. Myself & other parents have stated that their kids EC’s had nothing to do with their intended major but they were accepted. I think leadership & excellence in your EC’s are more important than what your EC’s are.
I would say that is true - my son’s ECs were not related to what he is majoring in. But his leadership experience was evident, and that must have been enough for Cornell (along with grades, test scores, pretty good essays, etc.). I would guess that you have a good chance wherever you apply. Pick the school you most want to go to and apply early there. And good luck!
You can get into any college u want to. Just need to write a convincing essay. Your stats are good enough to get you into anything like CMU, MIT, Stanford…
Agree with tamara6. If you have a first choice, apply there ED. I believe some schools will turn down highly qualified students if they don’t think they’ll attend. Your stats are amazing. Make your essays stand out. Best of luck.
