Cornell Days

What usually happens during overnight stays? Will it be awkward if I go to Cornell Days alone?

If a parent comes with me to Cornell Days, does the parent stay at a nearby motel while I do the overnight stay?

I don’t know where you are coming from, but if you are in the NY /NJ/PA area, my girl friend is driving up in her car with me and someone else and we have room for one more. As long as you can make it into the city and meet us somewhere centralized, like the port authority or Penn Station. Just message me if you are interested and which days you are going (if they match up with when we go)
Don’t feel awkward if you go alone; i’m sure you will have a great time and there are many local motels to stay at for a parent.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, but I have a few questions regarding Cornell Days as well. What time are we supposed to check-in at the RPCC. I live in CT and it will take me nearly 5 hours to get to Cornell. On the schedule (http://admit.cornell.edu/sites/default/files/plan%20your%20day%20qr.pdf</a>) it already says that I have to check-in at 8am. But since I’m coming on Saturday (April 16th), the very first tour I am interested in (Engineering Quad) will be at 11-30am. To be there at 11am (a little earlier so I would have time to park and check-in) I would have to leave my house at around 5-6am. It would be a problem if I had to check-in at 8am… %)

So the question is, does it matter what time I check-in at the RPCC?

I’m pretty sure you can check in at any time. You can also think about driving to campus on Friday, and staying somewhere nearby if it’s financially feasible.

TskDbx, the only reason I’m not doing it is because we (my family) will be hosting guests at our house (visiting from another country) - and we are planning to visit Cornell on the 16th and then go to the Niagara Falls on next day.
