<p>^ i know dickson has the most singles on campus… but you can’t actually request a specific dorm as a freshman unless you’re a girl and you request all women’s (balch)
also i think balch is pretty quiet, but it may not be the quietest – i’m unsure</p>
<p>If you’re a female and you want a single room in a quiet dorm, I’d def. go for Balch.</p>
<p>Since freshman live in halls together, there is really no saying which dorm will be “quietest.” That being said, Donlon has always had a rep for parties, but know that everyone at Cornell is serious about academics and there are strict courtesy hours, so you shouldn’t have trouble, even if you’re not in a “quiet” dorm. I was in Mews, which was beautiful and brand new, and even though it’s not known for being quiet, I loved it and got plenty of study time in.</p>
