@roboticsnerd33 what school did you apply to? My friend who applied to SHA is in a similar situation as me except it’s his “official” interview. Another friend applied to CAS and hasn’t heard anything about a CAAAN meeting yet, even though his portal says all materials received. So maybe it has something to do with school? Idk just a guess.
Anyone else apply ED to ILR? I think I saw one other person on this thread…

Awesome! @051066 Doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of people applying to ILR, do you know normally how many apply ED each year?
Not really sure @vigilia . I went there for an ILR info session and the head of admissions said 60-70% of their class is comprised of ED candidates but there are a lot more applicants in the RD round. Who knows all we can do is pray for an acceptance. Are you in state or out?
@051066 I’m from California, I think they take around 10% or so from the West Coast. I’m guessing your from NY?

@hleeigh You received an offer to talk to an alum? I asked Cornell if I could do that, but it said it didn’t offer such services to students applying who didn’t receive interviews… hm…

For the link that @blprof posted earlier http://irp.dpb.cornell.edu/tableau_visual/admissions, does anyone know why is there a sudden increase in applications starting from 2004? Is that when the Common Application became popular or something? Just curious.
@Diablaze it’s based on the availability of alumni in your area. I don’t think Cornell is actually involved in setting them up.
@y90y90 Common app and increase in online apps in general. Same trend for all the schools my D is applying to.
Do you guys know if you have to submit, or if they ask for first quarter grades?
@roboticsnerd33 I was wondering that too! Based on last year’s thread, it seems like they will start asking soon. Our quarter ended yesterday so I’m not sure if I should go ahead and ask my GC to send them.
D had meeting w alumni today, low key, 95% of meeting was spent answering her questions.
