BTW I am applying nutritional sciences double major with AEM!
btw i go toa Northeast Boarding School with full financial scholarsihp
@HYPSMgod I’m just gonna retract now. You’re too op.
@HYPSMgod why are you posting a chances query in the middle of an ed thread? did you apply ed?
Good question… Mr. Harvard-Yale-Princeton-Stanford-MIT god is missing a C in his acronym.
Unless you are a recruited athlete, there are no likely letters in the early round.
@redgobig I noticed that too, I doubt he applied ed to Cornell over one of those schools.
https://caaan.admissions.cornell.edu/CAAANCalendar.pdf Definitely December 8th!
Even though it’s stated in the CAAAN calendar as December 8th, it could be possible that results are postponed… I reached out to my regional admissions counselor at Cornell and he only told me that they would be available mid-December. This vague response might hint that results may actually come out on the 15th or so… but I don’t truly know!
If i have received an email asking me for financial aid documents and a copy of my passport, does it mean something?
@HYPSMgod Are you just posting to brag? That’s kind of annoying. You’re nickname alone says you think you’re special. “God?” Really? You already know your stats and URM status marks you as the perfect candidate for literally every Ivy (assuming they’re real), but your arrogance would be a turnoff. And yes, I’m saying that because I’m jealous and petty. LOL. Where did you even apply ED because you can’t do it at all the Ivies?
@HospitalityDream I think it just means they are missing information from you. It shouldn’t have anything to do with an acceptance decision. Lots of people have misssing financial aid stuff.
Thank you. Anyone applying to the Hotel Administration school? Are chances high as an International ED applicant?
the remainder of my financial aid stuff FINALLY went through today, thank goodness. random inquiry… I sent my newest SAT score (from November) that wasn’t with my ED application because it wasn’t available at the time… I received a higher score so I was wondering if anyone knows if they’ll be able to consider my application with the improved score or not?
Believe it or not, but I’d like to believe that the FnAid progress is a kind of indication for the ED addmission process while the decision date is approaching. Anyhow, finally, all of my “To-Do-List” in Fn.Aid was cleared, starting from “initiated” through “ordered” except one request, my parent’s W2 with a new due date11/01/2017. (I wish I am in Cornell in 2017. [-O< A new due date is strange, but it asked me to update a new W2.
@firstpet I’m in the same situation as well
@skieurope So i know athletes get likely letters in ED round, but do non-athletes get likely letters in RD round?
Hey guys I have a question regarding my FinAid To-Do List
It says that I need to submit “Verif: IRS Parent Data”, “Verif: IRS Student Data”, and “Verif: Student Will Not File” by Dec.8.
Wasn’t I supposed to upload those onto my IDOC (which I did before the Nov.22 deadline)? Does this happen because Cornell need time processing my documents, or because I need to submit those besides the ones I submitted on IDOC?
@rookie99 Does it say “by Dec 8”? It’s a new data point relate to the indication of admission. If you did submit already, you can just wait. Good luck. Maybe my due, 11/01/2017, is a bad sign [-X
I think just about everyone has that new 11/2017 date in IDOC so I doubt it means anything. You can always call college board if you’re curious. I’m just gonna wait until 12/8 at this point.
