@RUHTRA999 lol don’t worry, your fit matters so much more than scores, like we all have similar, strong scores so it’s much more important to have strong essays

Everyone needs to calm down lol, we’ve taken all our tests and submitted our apps, now we wait until the 8th.
There’s no point in looking at the past thinking what you could have done better, what if my scores/grades were higher, etc, it’s unproductive thinking. Be proud of what you’ve done so far and how resilient we’ve become coming this far!

Edit: Not implying that Cornell admissions isn’t a big deal; it’s my dream school.

Does anyone know if January 2018 admission is offered for ED or is it RD only?
Hey y’all! I also applied ED to Cornell- intending to major in Animal Science. Gosh, but after reading all of your standardized test scores and such, I’m not feeling too confident. My scores are below average (when it comes to Cornell’s avg.) even though my GPA, grades, and EC’s are all in very good standing. I also believe my essays and reccs are strong but, I’m a little worried now. Cornell’s been the school of my dreams since I was seven, and I just hope it can become my reality. @soulsurfer99 So what if you feel your scores are below average? Scores are not an accurate depiction of who someone is. Essays are. If your essays are strong, then why does it matter? Unless you got a 1 on the ACT or a 200 on the SAT, chill. You got this.
True, the best you can do now is hope for an acceptance while bracing for a rejection
