The whole admissions notification process for Cornell is weird @OCNYmom … they should just post the decision on the portal that we already have.
This is one of the slowest weeks of my life.
@jvan77 How about an international student applying from GA haha
Got the email, flipped out, then realized it gave me no more information than I’ve already known for the past two weeks… here’s to THURSDAY
@RUHTRA999 ayyy peach state represent
Lol a thought just crossed my mind… anyone daring enough to call the admissions office to ask whether they got accepted or not? They definitely have most of the decisions ready by now, if not all of them.
@connorf13 Yeah man. I would love Cornell even more if it’s in Georgia lol.
@vigilia I think that would totally make them mad…and they just turn an acceptance into a rejection…
I’m totally ready to call, because I have no chance of being accepted, but calling them would incur international roaming charges on my cell and get my parents super mad at me
GUYS I’M DYING OF FEAR
The sucky thing is that I’m having finals next week, so if I don’t get into Cornell, I might be depressed and mess up on finals, causing me to screw up my GPA and my reg decisions.
@ebiersack Same here
@ebiersack Same! I put all my senior year into this bet coming out this Thursday
Maybe you can consider to check the results after your finals. A few days won’t make a difference. Good Luck.
How many of you will be sitting in front of your computer at 4:55pm on Thursday with the door closed, heart pounding, palms sweating, waiting for the email to drop into your inbox?
@bigred1985 Can’t even do that cuz I live in the dorms and have a roommate…Probably will be hiding under my blanket. I’ll jump out and scream if I got in or just go to sleep depressed if rejected lol…
Ill be sweating in the gym lol
Sorry I’m late, had a physics test, but got the email at about 10:30 confirming thursday.
Cornell Admissions monitors this site so be careful calling them weird - just saying
^^ if anyone wants to assuage some of their fears (side effects may include increased stress oops)
