Still no pin. I want my decision :((
@VaishS Did you do the “forgot my pin” trick or are you just waiting for the email containing the pin?
@doubleS ive been doing the forgot my pin trick every day for the past month hahaha #DesperateAF
@ILRTransfer3 Your question is kind of heavy on why I want to leave DePaul. The answer would pretty much be the all of the reasons anybody else has ever transferred for. I just sat one day and asked myself “Would I be proud to get a degree from this university” and you can probably guess the answer I had. I might be too harsh, but there really is not one good quality about DePaul (for me at least), the exception being the professors. I’ll probably have to stay more than 2 years so hopefully if I can work out something with IB or even if I decide to go into consulting because I know both follows very similar path in terms of introduction to the career.
@VaishS If it helps, I still don’t have my pin (but I do have my decision).
@VaishS How exactly does it work, so you click “forgot my pin” and then what’s supposed to happen? I’m applying to CALS and the wait is slowly killing me.
@doubleS Well, you put in your email, if it says “not found” then that means they haven’t put your decision up yet, but if it sends you a link to reset then you can look at your decision time
@Mastadon Thank you and congrats on your acceptance!
Hi all, just thought I would update ya’ll.
Ian called me this morning (I believe 9:30 at Cornell) while I was asleep. He left a voice mail and I called back a couple hours later for him to tell me that I was accepted into ILR!
Most likely going so if any other ILR Transfers wanna make a group me or add me on FB lmk!
My stats are really far up but tbh nothing special. I wrote my essay in like two days and had great ECs/Work Experience. However I treated the process as a networking/recruiting situation and have emailed/talked to Ian on the phone before (not too much though).
Down to answer questions but my laptop is broken and for some reason CC doesn’t work on an iPhone so I may not answer too quick.
@Mastodon97 happy to see you got in as well. I think we were some of the first ILR commentators here. Do you know when we get our PIN/Portal stuff and have something more official?
wtf is up with AEM aarrgghh!!! No pin…nothing. I guess it’s another week of penitently waiting and nervousness
I was called by Olivia who works in ILR admissions, I was accepted too, they said the official decision comes out Tuesday.
People have been talking about the forgot PIN option but I’m not sure if I’m looking at the right thing. Is it the same as forgot PIN or applicant ID option? I would appreciate it if someone could post the URL for that page so I can check if I got my PIN.
@ballislife98 Olivia said all of that stuff will come Tuesday. I was just accepted too.
And we CAS people are still waiting…
@ballislife98 Congrats! And yeah we were indeed the amongst the first commenters, that seems like forever ago lol. It should be either Tuesday or Friday according to Ian we get our actual confirmations on the portal.
@MysteriousDude I’m applying CAS as well. I just called like 20 minutes ago and they told me that decisions would be out this Tuesday and the following week. She said that it usually takes 2-3 weeks from the date that your application goes to review. The waiting game is real; I wish we had an Ian for CAS!
Could any CAS applicant ask admissions when decisions will be released?
@doubleS any transeval update?
I’ve received none lol… What’s the major you’re applying to?
@rubberducky123 I’m applying CAS as well. I just called like 20 minutes ago and they told me that decisions would be out this Tuesday and the following week. She said that it usually takes 2-3 weeks from the date that your application goes to review.
