@ShwiftyPugs Perhaps the committee begins reviewing some applications if only certain documents are missing. I know for me everything except for the College Report was sent in around late March.
@yassgirl
That is interesting that the people who had there apps reviewed later are getting decisions earlier. Probably means the committee decided on there applications quickly, that could be good or bad I suppose. I guess we will see. I just can’t wait to get my pin eventually and find out when my decision is.
I called this afternoon for the engineering. They told me results will come out every Tuesday but didn’t specify exactly what week. Smh
@yassgirl I think your application went in earlier than mine, I do not remember the exact date but I do believe it was the week of the 9th. Cornell is the last school that I’m waiting on so
So are we sure that tomorrow is going to be rejection heavy? What about for AEM specifically?
Also does the transeval method still work for CALS?
@cbm345 Remember that we’re all guessing here. Nobody knows for sure because we are drawing conclusions from a very small data sample. Keep in mind that the people on this website make up a small percentage of applicants. This is especially the case for AEM because it is an even smaller data size, making it difficult to predict.
The most you can do is go into old threads and see when AEM applicants were rejected or accepted. You are probably better off just waiting for tomorrow though.
Just so you know, I didn’t receive any email from Cornell delivering my PIN to be able to access my admission decision on 05/02. However, I tried the PIN trick, and it works for me though. After resetting the password and login, it says "Your decision will be viewable on 5/2/2017 at 10:00 AM ". May the odds be ever in our favor!!!
@HopefulCollege95 Good luck! I’m hoping for the best for all of us!
ILR applicant here- the pin trick worked for me and I’ll be able to see my decision tomorrow morning. I didn’t receive a phone call from Ian or anyone else in admissions, so I’m going ahead and assuming that’s a rejection for me. Regardless, it’s been great talking to all of you and I’m send positivity and the best of luck to all of you who are still waiting on decisions, especially those of you who will receive your decisions tomorrow.
@marvin11 Good luck man! We got this!
I heard that if accepted your NetID is your Applicant ID (minus “app17-”). Take that piece of info with a grain of salt because I am not sure.
For people who just got their pins (or if anyone cares to try, but please respond when you were able to reset your pin password), try going here https://activate.netid.cornell.edu/netidactivation/netid.html and typing in your Applicant ID minus “app17-”. Does it work?
@heyitsjosh28 doesn’t work for me
But I accidentally entered a wrong one the first time and it did work, so it’s totally possible
To those that have been accepted, when is the deposit fee deadline?
@cbm345 What did it say when it worked?
it didnt work for me @heyitsjosh28 does it work for anybody else?!?!?!?!
@Mastodon97 can you try the net ID trick with the activation link? you got a call that you were accepted, right? I’m curious to see if yours works
@jojowetzz didn’t work for me
Didn’t work for me either!
