Cornell Fall 2017 Transfer

Still no luck :frowning:

Debating just resending at this point. It’s mid-April

For the TO of human ecology who have gotten accepted, were all your materials checked when you were informed that you were accepted?

New to the thread, hello!

My recommendation hasn’t been sent in yet (Professor is taking his sweet time doing it for some reason) but the recommendation is pretty good (Advisor Evaluation)

I sent my midterm grades and my school report in together around last week, and it has been sent, but not updated on the applicant status page.

Are all notifications being sent through the mail? Bummer. I definitely prefer the email acceptance/rejection

@lexluther96 I thought that it was through email, and then you get the packet?

@Mastodon97 how long did it take for the college report to be checked off? Did you send it in with your mid year report?

@jhong0811 So far it seems like everyone was notified via mail only

@lexluther96 Isn’t that true because they were TOs? It says on the applicant status page that applicants will be notified through an email when decisions can be viewed.

@jhong0811 They received my college report in the mail 2 weeks ago. I sent my mid-term report online 3 weeks ago directly to an admissions officer for ILR.

Ugh still waiting for my HS transcript to be checked off. Everything else was checked off two weeks ago…

@dchn Yes. They were checked off April 6th, and the acceptance letter I received in the mail was dated the same day which seems like an absurdly quick turnaround even though I was a TO candidate. I’ve officially given up on understanding Cornell’s admissions process, I’m just glad that it finally worked in my favor.

@aihcxx thanks for providing me with this info. I’m a cals TO who is still waiting for his acceptance and still haven’t had his midterm checked off, even though it was submitted 3 weeks ago.

Hey guys! ILR transfer hopeful here. Wondering if anyone is still missing application materials on their portal? This year I attended two separate CCs for family reasons, and thus had to submit two separate college reports. The first was sent late February and has appeared as received on all other applications I’ve submitted to other schools. The second college report I had priority shipped by FedEx, and I received email confirmation from FedEx saying it was received and signed for around March 28th or so. My application was updated this morning, and it looks like the admissions staff still haven’t either received or processed the section “college report”. Should I try calling somebody in the office? I’d rather wait until they email me saying they are missing materials to worry, I’m just also concerned about the time lag between receiving the email notification and someone from either CC institution filling out and sending the college report. Thanks for listening to me vent, and I’m truly wishing all of you the best of luck with decisions beginning to be released.

Finally, all my transcripts have been checked off and my application has been sent for review. Is there any indication how long it will take before the decision will roll out?

did anyone not send test scores in? I submitted my app and it’s under review but the thought just came to me, hoping it doesn’t hold up my app in case they do actually want to see it (I was told that it wasn’t required and since I only pulled 2020/2400 I didn’t send them). thanks!

@igotsunshine111 that’s still a good score and I’m pretty sure it’s within their range. Unless you’re coming from a comparable school, I think you should send it. I’m not sure if they’ll still accept it though. I think it’s better to show that you scored in like the 95th percentile than it is to let them think you possibly scored badly

@igotsunshine111 I would definitely for sure submit that. There are slim to none chances of being admitted without scores and that score it’s as bad as you think, especally for a transfer since they dont focus on that as much
Try to do that today with like express delivery

Hello, everyone, I sent my college report and Highschool transcript on 03/05, but they are still not checked off on my checklist. Is anyone on the same boat with me? I don’t know if it is because I finished high school in China or not. So worried right now.

@VaishS Where have you read that there is a slim to none of being accepted if we don’t submit SAT/ACT scores?

If anyone is wondering, my last item got checked off today: the college report. It was sent from my university on 3/15. Dont be worried if not everything is checked off for you

Btw, does anyone know if I can still send SAT scores? I sent in all my available scores, but I took it again in March. The scores come out tomorrow and I’m not sure if I should send them
