Cornell Hotel - Questionable Extracurrics?

Ok, so Cornell Hotel School is very interesting to me. I really do love management with a hotel focus and the like, and I feel like the school is a fit for me (still searching though - I'm only a junior).

However, from what I've read, experience in hospitality in critical to the application. So far, most of my extracurrics have focused on my other main interest that I go back and forth with between it and management - politics/international relations. I've done Model UN and have done well at conferences, I've been interning at my local congressman's local office, and I've worked with campaigns.

Will this hurt me (a lot?) in my application? Should I search out hospitality/management oppurtunities this coming summer?

Thanks for the help!

That would be a great boost in your application. So far, your ECs are showing fit for ILR. And if you really want to get into the Hotel school, you need to show them that you belong there.
