Cornell RD Class of 2016 Discussion Thread

i wish everyone the best of luck :)

Did anyone hear back from hotel or ILR?

Yeah. Found out I got accepted today.

Yeah, I got in today. From San Diego, CA.

My assumption is that likely letters are coming out soon for the other schools!

Are these ILR decisions likelys or actual decisions?

These are probably actual decisions. Then again, even if they are not, likelies are around 99% acceptance anyway so they can be taken to be acceptances too.

Hm. If I didn’t receive mine today (NJ) should I expect a waitlist/rejection?

^These are acceptances, but if you didn’t get one that definitely doesn’t mean waitlist/rejection.

Hotel and ILR are rolling decisions so some get notified before others but the official date is still later in March

Cornell will release the rest of the decisions at the end of March with the other Ivies.

So the rolling decisions won’t continue throughout the week?

As a side note, this is pretty cool:

@alacky - if you are ILR/Hotel it would seem they are “rolling” and will continue rolling throughout the month. stay positive. all the best.

Thanks for the support!

Question to ILR-ies, when did you complete/send in your app and have your interview?

Lilshaun, congratulations! Hotel or ILR? And could you tell me, did you application status on the online site change before/after you received your letter?

And, RockNStuff, congratulations to you as well! Hotel or ILR? And did your application status on the online site change before/after you received your letter?

I believe the earlier decisions come via mail…the portal won’t reflect it until later this month.

ACCEPTED! I got my letter yesterday!

ILR admission letter received yesterday in US mail. (TN) Small, thin envelope.
