<p>Heeey guys..i'm just curious to know what you think my chances are of getting into cornell RD...</p>

<p>Cornell is really popular with my school, a lot of kids apply and a lot of kids get accepted...(13 apply maybe 9 get accepted)</p>

<p>I have 3.8 GPA unweighted and 1970 sats 29 act, im not so great at standarized tests ...I'm taking a very strong course load this year though and so far have been doing really well! so thats good </p>

<p>I have massive amounts of Ec's (most impressive being president of student body and section leader for symphony orchestra)</p>

<p>I think my recs will be pretty sweet :-D im hoping! and my essay was very original (I wrote about my smelly cat who was really weird and uncleanly and how it turns out he had cancer and thats why he couldn't clean himself...anaolgy on why you can't judge anyone!) </p>

<p>I also took a class at cornell over the summer- political philosophy..and i got an A- plus a letter of rec from professor..which was cool </p>

<p>what do you think my chances are of getting in? Please be critical. I need to know for my own peace of mind! Sorry, I know threads like these get annoying but I just feel so stressed out about the college app process! Thank you all, and goodluck!!</p>

<p>im guessing you are a nyer with your school's numbers? id say you have an alright shot... i dont know what to tell you beyond that...cornell is pretty holistic in there application process (or so i hear)...so keep your fingers crossed...</p>
