<p>Do people often commute to the city?
If so, what transportation is most often used?</p>

<p>My d is interested art as a hobby... and there are many museums and such in NYC</p>

<p>Cornellians usually go to NYC during Fall or Thanksgiving breaks!</p>

<p>The shotline bus runs from Cornell campus to NYC multiples times in a day. It is a 5 hour bus ride.</p>

For serious? I thought it was ~$150 round trip.</p>

<p>Shortline has a special for the weekends...it used to be $65</p>

<p>The Cornell Campus-to-Campus bus (Ithaca to NYC medical campus) runs about $150 round trip</p>

<p>if you leave friday and come back sunday i think its ~$70</p>
