Seems like unexpected FA results are often the result of mistakes on the part of the FA office. Cornell’s FA seems particularly overwhelmed this year and mistakes happen. Make sure you have all your documents and go thru all the details.
same here.
I’m having the same exact problem right now!
Mine is still there as well - still no decision
There’s a Facebook page!
Hi guys have a question for you all. Were you all asked to fill out a Household Verification form from the office of financial aid?
Hey!! They ignored my “special circumstances” thing on the CSS too. I appealed and gave them the appropriate documentation, and they reconsidered my aid and gave like 10k a year more in grants. I was super happy with how fast and well they worked on it!
Anyone?
Where did u see it? Did u get an email
Yes, I got an email about resubmitting my Federal Verification Worksheet and then the office wanted me to fill out the Household Verification. Did you get this? And others? I am not sure if this is a good sign or something. They told me to check the status of my financial aid on Friday or Monday as well…
I didnt get it. I think they verify random people’s information
what school did you apply to?
Dyson. Wbu?
Did you also fill out these forms as well? Or did I just do it wrong the first time?
I did not fill any forms beside css profile and fafsa for cornell
U didnt necessarily do anything wrong. They randomly verify fin aid stuff. Nth to worry about. I filled smth similar for usc its all part of the process
I’m dyson as well. What do you think of this?
Its strange they are talking about aid package without sending an acceptance. Defo a positive sign
I think it is too. I called this morning and they said they start a financial aid package for everyone tho? I am like, why would you start a package for someone if they are not getting in. I don’t get it
