Knowing the fact that somebody from CALS got rejected last week, I’m speculating that maybe they’re still tryna to make decisions for people who have heard back nothing. I feel like the earlier waves were for people whom admissions knew they would definitely accept or reject.
Applied to CAS Biological Sciences, checklist disappeared this morning. Cornell is one of five schools I’m waiting on, thank God I’m finally getting my decision today.
Agreed @yjliu . Seems like they made no-brainer decisions of definite rejections and those accepted first few weeks, at least based on stats of those accepted.
ANY DYSON NON TO???
@ yjliu If you don’t mind my asking, which major at CALS? No worries if you’d rather not say.
Seems very helpful to know which majors CALS people are still waiting on.
CAS, non-to My checklist disappeared too!
@16Skipper Yeah ofc! My first choice major is Environment and Sustainability and my second choice major is Earth and Atmospheric Sciences:) Hope this helps!
Idk about y’all but I could not be more nervous lol. Its been great seeing everyone so in the dark about their applications and the happiness and relief of when they get in. Everyone here has worked so hard. Brown said what I thought is the best way to describe this process and everyone who goes through it:
"Most students who are unsatisfied with their college experience don’t consider transferring to another school. They are unwilling to put up with the extra work, emotional energy and personal upheaval that transferring requires. Consequently, those who do take the initiative to transfer are already a significant distillation of the American college population.
Transfers are people who are unwilling to settle. They are willing to do the extra work to get what they want. And they are willing to take the path less traveled to arrive at a better place."
Good luck everyone
Best of luck to everyone!
@Songless aww this post made me start tearing up a bit bc it’s so true :’) I can’t believe that this process is almost over after close to two years of gearing myself up to transfer. Regardless of our decisions, we’re all indeed stronger after all of this in at least some way!
anyone heard anything from COE yet?
@Songless I love that! It’s so true. Remember everyone- win, lose, or draw we should all be proud of ourselves. We all put ourselves out there in order to get a better education. Just by applying to Cornell, we showed the world that we aren’t willing to settle. Good luck everyone. Accepted, waitlisted, or rejected, please be proud of yourself.
All the best guys! Hoping you all get in!
I just want to see my decision and get this over lol!!! GL everyone
