Cornell University Fall 2020 Transfer

Ok thank you! And CONGRATS!!!

My daughter got in. She’s in the middle of her math test when the update came in. ILR, TO.

Did any CAS decisions come out?

My friend was just rejected by CAS. I don’t know why CAS releases today,

My daughter got a TO last year. After she accepted the TO, she was in communication with a Cornell liaison, in-charge of TOs. My daughter kept her communication with this liaison during the year asking advice for what courses to take to fulfill Cornell’s freshmen required courses. She obtained the required GPA and submitted all the requirements and the liaison already assured her that whatever submitted as of this time were enough. She applied March 15th. Getting the email of acceptance is just to formalize the transfer admission. And yes, if you got the requirements for TO, it is indeed guaranteed!!!

@kcasssuu when did they hear back?

I applied as a transfer to CAS non-TO and haven’t heard anything. Is that a good sign?

Got in, SHA (TO). Good luck to all of you TO’s and regular applicants in the coming weeks!

@aspiringgirl which school did they apply to? TO?

Accepted! Dyson TO

If you were a to or gt and got decision today you are 95% accepted.

Non to or gt students are known to get rejected the first week of decisions so that is most likely what happened

I haven’t received a decision yet. I applied to SHA and my fa says transfer transcript and i still see my checklist.

Good luck everyone

Non-TO here. Got accepted to Human Ecology.

@hoothoot5 did your financial aid changed?

@hoothoot5 congrats !! Did your fa only say transfer transcript and did your fa say ordered? Thanks man and congrats bro!!

@hoothoot5 what time did you hear back?

Do they release decisions over the course of a day, or is it all at once for the people who will be released that day?

@nickvader7 I also applied to CAS and didn’t hear anything. My checklist is still there. My friend receives a decision at around 3pm CST and got denied for CAS.

No. Rejections happen in every single wave for CAS non-TO’s. There is no good sign other than financial aid changing to “ordered.”

Do you think they are still releasing more today? Congrats to everyone who was accepted!!

If you are non-TO and it doesn’t say “ordered,” does that mean rejection?

Also if you don’t get a decision today is it possible that your fa changed to ordered later this week
