I have a 24 act score and a 1660 sat score. I know my chances at Cornell and brown are very slim becuz of my scores but I'm hoping my EC's, essays, recs, and URM status will help me. Do u guys think my chances at Cornell are higher than brown or vise versa?

Cornell higher than Brown. But I don’t think you can get in with a 24 or 1660, trying applying to NYU or UCB/LA instead. Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1724840-what-are-my-chances-for-hyspu-and-others-i-will-chance-back.html#latest

Not unless you’re the dean’s child. I’m going to be honest they are not good. Are you a senior? If so then there is no time to retake but I agree that your chances at cornell are higher than brown. All of your other stuff might help but I just don’t think an ivy is gonna take someone with such low test scores. And even if they do you have to think about money. You’re not gonna get a lot of merit based aid with those scores and I hope your GPA does not in any way reflect the scores you got because if they do…well not good. Anyways if you shoot for places that are less selective you’re more likely to get aid/get in at all

You can still sign up for the January test and send it as long as you rush your scores and/or use them as your free score reports/order them before you get your scores.
