friend called CALS and they said to keep checking your email in coming days/ weeks bc the system hasn’t updated everyone’s decisions (that is why some people found out last week but others have no update)- this likely applies to other cornell schools too for those who are still waiting. not the most helpful info lol

So as an update for some of you waiting - Cornell housing assignments came out yesterday. They are back to doing forced triples. These are rooms that are really doubles but due to space they have to add a third person. Not idea. They are also completely full and when people have called to request a change, they have specifically been told that they can’t as there is a waiting list for housing for incoming students. That is awful if that is the case since they expect all freshman to live on campus and guarantee it, so who knows where they are going to place these students. So, for those waiting for a spot off the waitlist, if you get in, I would consider that you may not get a dorm room, but also, if the dorms are indeed already full, then there is the possibility they are not taking anyone off the waitlist.
