I got accepted into ucsc cluster: 8 Marine Mammals and Oceanography
This was my first choice and my only choice so I am very happy!</p>

<p>and dont worry! most people who aren’t going to go to COSMOS are using it as a backup for another program. Those programs probably come out a while later…like my friend is waiting on his BLIPS notification and that doesn’t come out until a month or so?</p>

<p>To anyone who applied to UCI, I’m a bit confused and I have a question. </p>
<p>I have not received an email or paper mail from UCI. When I go online now, the application status page has what I think is a new line “Application Status Accepted”. But the page does not have a new line or entry for cluster. It just has the same cluster information (at the bottom) that it’s had since I applied. Unfortunately, I heard last year that when they first turned on the system after the waiting-period shutdown, EVERYONE was listed as Application Status Accepted, and it was wrong until they corrected it. (Kinda cruel).</p>
<p>So I’m trying to figure out what’s real.</p>
<p>Now my questions:
- Is anyone out there listed as Rejected or Waitlisted for UCI — or do you know any UCI applicant whose line reads “Application Status Denied or Waitlisted”?
- Does anyone “accepted” to UCI see any cluster listing that is new or different from what it was before they shut down the system?
- For people accepted at the other 3 sites, where does it show which cluster you were accepted into? Is there a new cluster line, or did they indicate something at the bottom where the clusters had always appeared?</p>
