Does anyone know anything about the financial picture at this school? It’s pricey like so many - but we’re wondering if they help much with the costs. It seems some of the schools provide generous financial aid packages and some don’t. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter is a sophomore at Uarts. She gets a generous merit award each year ($16,000) but I don’t know about need based aid.

My S was offered a $14,000 annual merit award which would have brought the cost to around $33,000 if he had decided to attend.

Here’s a link to an earlier thread discussing scholarships at UArts. In addition to talent/merit scholarships, there are some need based grants and of course subsidized Stafford loans. In general, the school has always been very generous with scholarships and most students get some degree of financial assistance.

When my daughter was accepted to Uarts, last year she was offered a very generous merit scholarship. (more than half of the tuition per year). Housing seems a little higher than most places, but it is a private school and right in the heart of the city. The housing options seemed very nice though, lots of space and good location. She did choose another school in the end, but it was definitely a contender.
