I am currently at SUNY Purchase and, as I have established in other threads, am beyond unhappy at the campus and looking to transfer. I am applying to Temple University and am looking for another SUNY to appease my parents god forbid financial aid at Temple falls through and there's just no way we can pay for it.

When I was looking at SUNY schools to apply to earlier this year, I actually applied to New Paltz however, I applied way after the application deadline (by over two weeks if I recall correctly), that combined with my very "meh" GPA at a two-year SUNY school at the time (2.8) was denied admission. At least they were very prompt about sending me a rejection letter (two weeks compared to four months to hear from Purchase's admissions department) My GPA rose slightly to closer to a 3.0 (it was technically a 2.9 but really close to a 3.0 with the other numerals) after my last semester ended and with the Purchase credits is wondering if it's worth a shot to try and transfer. Would I have much of a chance applying before the December 1 deadline or should I just look elsewhere?
