Could I transfer (CS Major)

I’m taking Cal 2, Linear Algebra, and Data Structures & Algorithms this semester at my community college.
I also completed the California IGETC, Intro to programming, and Java 1.
My overall gpa is 3.6.

I haven’t taken the physics sequence because I want to spend my effort on these last math classes. So far I’m doing very well in the semester.
I want to transfer because I’m not getting a long with my family. I need my own space.

Could I transfer right now? I really don’t care about what college as long as it’s a public university and they must have dorms.

UCB and UCSC have BA CS degrees that do not require physics. But you would have to apply for fall 2016.

You can use http://www.assist.org to find which CSUs do not require physics, then check http://www.csumentor.edu to see if they are still open for fall 2015.

Some select CSU’s I believe you can still apply for Fall 2015 or Spring 16, that would be the earliest. Most UC/CSU’s would be Fall 2016, without physics you have the option of UCB BA, UCSC BA, UCI BS, and a few CSU.s Most notably I’m almost positive that you can still apply for CSU East Bay and get in for Fall 2015. No physics.

Are you instate for California? As a CC student, you might not like the dorms.
