Could my migraines get me a single room?

Long story short, I went to a community college for the 2011 - 12 year, transferred to a four year but decided it wasn't the right place for me, and am now going back to the same CC with a change of major. Unfortunately, even though some of my previous credits apply to my new major, my CC will still list me as a freshman because I don't have enough credits in my new major yet.

Basically, I had really, REALLY bad roommates for the majority of that first year at the CC and then was spoiled at the 4 year by having my own room in an apartment. I'd kind of like my own room this coming year back at the CC, particularly since I've started having very frequent migraines or otherwise awful headaches (we're talking multiple days a week here) in the past year. When I get headaches, I get nauseated, and absolutely need quiet and darkness. Having a roommate, particularly a bad one (I'm not exactly feeling hopeful about getting a good one now that I'm going back there to the land of awful roommates) would definitely not help when I feel so sick like that.

My CC only has about 8 single rooms... what are my chances of getting one to accommodate my health needs? (They're no more expensive than doubles/triples etc., so no worry about cost). Would I need a doctor's note?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You’ll need a doctor’s note but if you contact housing early you have a good chance.

ur cc has dorms? yes contact housing early with documentation
