I go to a public high school in NY. My class size is around 350. GPA is 4.0
Usually a few students yearly attend ivies.

Thanks for the help, and any advice would be appreciated!

You definitely are a qualified applicant and your EC’s are strong. However, with the Ivies, you can never be sure of anything, especially if you are not coming from a feeder school. But you have a decent shot.

My generic guess is 20% chance to Princeton, 60% to some ivy league and 100% to one of Barron’s most competitive schools. I say this on the basis that there are about 15,000 students with your scores on the SAT each year. In addition, there are another 5k to 10k with an equivalent ACT score. That is a total of about 25 thousand students with your profile. Therefore, I would guess, the probability that you will be successful in life is quite good.

Getting back to Princeton, I would think, if you were golf’s Junior National Champ. or something, then the odds would be much better. That said, what wouldn’t most of us do to have your scores and 20% odds of getting into Princeton? Congratulations and good luck.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I really appreciate it!

I agree with the 1st and 2nd post
