Hi, my school had a weird grading system where they would add 5 points ur grade if you were in a harder class so I wasn’t sure if those extra five points were like a weighted average. They also didn’t list what our gpa’s were on the weighted 5 point scale. Anyways, I had a 93.6
Weighted average last year, could someone help me figure out what that would be on a weighted 5.0 scale?
No it doesn’t
It is.
If you’re asking for applications, you report the GPA as listed on your transcript, using the scale your school uses. So at the moment, you have a 93.6 on a 100 point scale.
On the rare occasions that a college asks you to recalculate, they will tell you how.
If you want to recalculate your GPA on a 4.0 scale just for giggles, here is one:

Recalculating a weighted GPA is a waste of time (unless a college asks for it) since there is not standard for weighting, and it’s really only an internal metric for the HS.
