I thought their grade was a little harsh. Just wondering what you all think it should have received. Thanks in advance! :)

My guess is a 3 (6 total). I suppose your total score could have been anywhere from 5-8.

I would probably say a 4 (8 out of 12) because you do have a point of view and you do write in coherent paragraphs, however you don't relate the first peice of evidence to the thesis all that well. The second piece of evidence isn't all that concrete either. By the way you have really neat handwriting, at least compared to mine.

Haha yea i kinda blanked for examples. But with such little time I just had to write with whatever came to my mind. Oh well.

what did you actually get?

6 out of 12. You have a lot of background in example one, but don't elaborate much on the example and the point is unclear. In example two, the example is short and there's just a statement with no further analysis. And in the conclusion, the thesis presented again is not exactly the same as the one presented in the introduction.
