Does anyone know what the acceptance rates have been for ID in the past few years?

2003 was 28%
2002 - 26%
2001 - 23%

And we're all hoping that upward trend continues...

Is it necessarily an "upward trend", or are the statistics becoming increasingly favorable because there are not as many people applying as the previous years?

I think you'd find that more and more people are liking Rice ID beacuse they get to hear early, but it does not conflict with ED or EASC policies. I know that's why I applied ID (although I'd have applied regular, even if ID didn't exist, and I hope the rest of us can say the same :)).

Joey

Yeah, I would have also applied regular if ID didn't exist.

I certainly would have applied if ID didn't exist...why would I spend $50 applying if I didn't like the school? I do, however, appreciate the fact that ID exists. How does it feel to know that within a week, our fates will be decided? When decisions are released, I think we should make a roster for each person to post stats/school/decision, so that future generations of CC people will have it as a resource...and for our own benefit.

Yeah i think we should do something like what the ED people did. Maybe even more elaborate.

ohhhh goodness...

come onnnn february 10th!

Anticipation/Nervousness is growing exponentially for me as the minutes pass...
