<p>Say you have to take Class 1 before you take Class 2. Is there a minimum grade you need in Class 1? I did pretty bad in a course, and I am going to retake, but not sure if I should do it next semester/if it will prevent me from taking Class 2. They are in unrelated departments. P.S. did not fail, but not good :(</p>
<p>If there is it should be listed in the course description along with the prerequisite. For example, in the algorithms course description, the prereqs line reads
“Prerequisite: CS 2102 and 2150 with grades of C- or higher.”
If it doesn’t say something like that, you should be fine.</p>
<p>That said, I’ve blatantly ignored prereqs I actually hadn’t taken for a few classes, and no one prevented me from signing up (not saying that’s always a good idea, though)</p>
