I was trying to register for Physics 208 for the spring semester to complete the CBK requirement for chemical engineering...however, it seems that all the classes are full...Any suggestions on what i should do? Can I get forced into the class somehow?

if you have a teacher that you are close with, maybe he/she can make a call for you and have you forced in. or try your advisor.

If it’s a class you need, just meet with your advisor and they should force you in

Generally, your advisor is only responsible for the classes listed under your major. So in this case you would have to get a prof from the Physics department to force you in. My advisor sent this message out on my major’s listserv, it might come in handy for you…

"There are some unused Cluster seats for PHYS 208, and in the clusters,
there are extra MATH seats. Dr. Ray James will take force requests in
204 Zachry for these seats. You can fill out force requests for those
sections only. =20

If you are taking ENGR 112, MATH 152, and PHYS 208, you might want to
consider a cluster. =20

CHEM 107 is full, but they are working on opening more seats and should
have them ready by tomorrow (for open registration).

In addition, keep checking the sections. I see there are several MATH
152 seats open."

Thanks for the replies!! I was hanging around the registration page for a while and miraculously a spot opened up for 208 so i went ahead and grabbed it XD
