Course Scheduling during Orientation

I looked at the sample schedule for Orientation and saw that there will be a four-hour period (from 1-5 PM) during which students register for fall courses. During this time, will there be a line-up system to register, or how does it work?

You all go to the computer lab and register using the online registration system.

To add onto what ^ said, after lunch, you split up by your major and you move to a designated computer lab where an advisor will talk to you about which classes are best to take. You will have a designated time that your orientation leader will tell you and once it’s that time, you can log onto the registration site to register

do we choose professors and class time at that time?

Actually, it depends on your major. I was an SCA student and we registered in our advisor’s office with our advisor. I didn’t have to go to a lab or anything.

And yes, you choose professors and classes at that time. I had the advantage that my advisor was helping us each individually with our schedules and was able to tell us about “good” classes.

Can anyone else from a niche major (music/music industry, theatre, art, etc) add to this? Was your situation similar?
