Cramming SAT IIs?

I'm a high school senior who has 2 SATIIs (2C and US History) already taken, as well as the new SATI and ACT already taken, but I think I need to take another SAT II in October to meet requirements at Harvard and "recommendations" at Yale/Northwestern/Stanford.

So, now I'm trying to choose an SAT II that I can take with minimal preparation (ie, I don't want to learn a new subject or relearn any sciences) and still get a good score. I think my top choice right now is Literature. My SATI Critical Reading scores are mid 700s. Can I get a 750+ on the Lit SAT II without too much studying? If you've taken Lit before, what are your opinions about it?

b u m p ..

IMHO, the SAT II Lit test looks a lot like the MC portion to the AP English Lit test. Of course, however, it is a lot harder than the SAT CR.

I'm in the same boat you're in, actually. Do you think I could prepare for World History in a month? The questions all looked fairly simple and general, but I haven't taken the course in high school (AP World History). Also, I thought one only needed 2 SAT IIs at Stanford.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about that, but checked today and it turns out Stanford only wants you to take 2 SAT IIs. Still, the other schools are an issue.

I thought about World History too, but some colleges don't like it when you take too many tests in the same subject...ie, both US History and World History

I guess if you've already taken AP English Lit, the SAT II Lit won't be too hard.

What others APs did you take? Take the SAT2 related to the APs you took.

Last year I took:

English Comp
US History
Psychology
Calc BC

So unfortunately it doesn't work out so easily. The 3 sciences are out (too much to learn). I'm leaning towards either Lit or not taking a 3rd SATII at all...depending on how I feel/what you guys think about Lit.

Well didn't u take like physics honors or something like that. You can cover for the SAT2 with that and still get a 750+. Also how about foreign languages. I'm not really sure about Lit because SAT2 lit is much different from L&C. Why don't you take a diagnostic test on sparknotes or sth?

I don't know any foreign languages well enough for the test. I actually did take AP Physics last year (did you remember reading this about me somewhere? or did you just guess randomly), but I bombed the class so badly that I didn't even bother signing up for the AP, and I know I'd score like 500-600 on the SAT II.

I guess I'll go try some diagnostics, but that'll be for tomorrow, cuz it's 11:30 and I need to start my homework. Thanks for your help though.
