Crap! I haven't sent my IDOC out!

This is from the IDOC website link on Collegeboard. If Stanford wants to see our IDOC, apparently they will ask for it when they are ready for it.

Through the Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC), the College Board collects families' federal tax returns and other documents on behalf of participating colleges and programs. The College Board will notify students selected by participating institutions when they must submit the required documents. Click on the "IDOC" button below to:

view your Requirements, including deadlines and a list of required documents;
print an IDOC document, including:

your Cover Sheet;
Verification Worksheet;
Institution Specific Document;
check the status of your submitted IDOC documents; and
get information from the IDOC Help Desk.

IDOC is only available to students that participating colleges and programs select and the College Board notifies for participation. Do not enter the site unless the College Board notified you that at least one of your colleges or programs participates in the IDOC Service.

Sal, what are your stats specifically? because my GPA is around the same but high ACT, but i've been waitlisted/rejected at all the top 20's i applied to so far.
Where else have you gotten in?
Thanks :]

man I got like a 24 on my ACTs
If anything I probably got in cus of my recs. and personal statement
I have gotten in:
CSUFullerton
UCDavis
UCSD
I withdrew UCBerkeley and UCLA, cus I was ready to enroll at Stanford, but I decided on just waiting to see my finalized fin. aid letter

Yeah it looks like you can never guess what you'll get into based on the other people that got in just because there are so many factors. Thanks though. And congrats on Stanford! That's really amazing.

I want to add that I am a prospective Freshman at Stanford University and I have not sent in my IDOC. I called Stanford and have talked with multiple financial aid officers who told me that they don’t care when I send it in, so long as I do “before I show up in the fall” (quote).

The school isn’t looking to withdraw financial support from you.

^Okay good. Thank you.

Yeah, I have had a similar problem.
Though I knew about IDOC, my parents won’t have their taxes filed until mid-April because of a payment they have to make. Therefore, I can’t attach the 2008 tax returns. So, since all I have left to do is send it in, and it is all contingent on admission, I am going to wait until I hear back. Then, I will proceed to call the aid office and tell 'em what’s up.

I didn’t apply to Stanford, but I’m in a similar situation. Canadians don’t file their taxes until later and my parents didn’t get all the needed documents until this week. I talked to financial aid offices, and like Tigereyes said, they said not to worry about it. The only loss is being able to compare offers.

So is it required to send the IDOC documents through really really fast mail (and spend a lot of money)?

^ well if the fin. aid offices don’t care when it comes, as long as it does, I would believe the answer is no

Have any EA applicants received their final financial aid estimates yet? If you have, is it the same as the estimates in December?

nope still waiting.

although i did send it in a week after the deadline
