<p>Does anyone know of some amazing, preferrably small schools in California or the West Coast that have a creative writing major? I've looked through past discussions and found many on the East Coast, but I'm hoping to stay West. </p>

<p>Reed College in Oregon. It is a liberal arts school and I would def. suggest it. Lewis and Clark (Oregon) is also good, but easier to get into than Reed. Evergreen State may be good and is in WA. They are all small schools too. You may also like Occidental in LA which is a liberal arts school. Good Luck!</p>

<p>I know it’s not a small school but UC Santa Barbara has a great program.</p>
<p>U Redlands has arguably the best creative writing program on the west coast.</p>
<p>Thanks for all of yours suggestions! I’m looking for a very small and tight knit community…would UC Irvine’s program be considered one of those? Or maybe an art school?</p>
