On JHU's website, it says that no credit is given for scoring high on the AP Psych or AP Physics B test. I'm planning on majoring in econ. Does that mean that even if I do well on those tests, I cannot be placed out of any classes/ it will not help me at all? And for the APs I do get credit for (AP Chem and AP BC Calc) will those factor into my distribution requirements or let me skip/not take certain courses or both?

No you won’t get credit for tests that they do not have listed. My son skipped a couple of AP tests as it would have gotten him nothing and they were not his favorite subjects.

I don’t know about meeting distribution requirements but getting a 5 on BC will allow you to start with Calc III as per math advising website. Don’t know about chem. Basically, it appear on your transcript as an AP credit and added to your credit total.
