So lets say hypothetically, I scored well enough on almost all of my AP & IB exams to receive credit. Based on this chart: http://www.umbc.edu/catalog/appendices/Appendix_II.pdf

Okay, my questions:

1.) Let's say I took AP English Language and AP English Literature exams and got 4's or 5's in both. Will I receive credit from both of those courses? (i.e, 9 credits) or will I have to pick between them?

2.) Let's say I got a 4 on the AP Biology Exam and a 6 on the IB Biology exam; will I receive credit from both (i.e, 12 total) or will I have to pick between them? (AP - 8, IB - 4)

3.) I noticed on the chart, that UMBC gives credit for IB Math Studies (SL), and IB Math Higher Level. IB Math Standard Level lies in between the aforementioned math levels--why are no credits given to those levels? Or are they, but just not listed on the document?

4.) How many credits do I need to start as a sophomore? Or a junior? Is it possible to start as a junior?

5.) If I get into the honors college, will I still be able to use a years worth of credits?

Thanks for your responses guys! : )
