Help!!! I am a junior biology transfer looking at Creighton University Vs. Loyola New Orleans. The BIO program at Creighton looks to be a lot stronger at Creighton with a few more choices in terms of electives. They also have a medical school which tells me something about their bio program. However, LOYNO gave me $41,000 in grants and scholarships. Can anyone tell me about either school, especially their bio programs?

Creighton U is far above Loyola New Orleans.

The only Loyola you should consider for pre-med is Loyola at Chicago which is pretty comparable to Creighton.

However, in this case, it looks like New Orleans would be significantly cheaper the the other one, so go for it. Save the money for medical school. Pretty clear choice.

Loyola University New Orleans has pre-med/pre-health tracks in biology, chemistry, psychology, and physics. Last year, they also had a 80% acceptance rate into medical schools for students who are pre-med with a 3.5 GPA or higher. Loyola’s science undergraduates are also performing some pretty amazing research right along side faculty members, including ground breaking research on Chagas disease and regenerating chicken embryo limb joints in a lab. If I were you, I would check out their website for more information - [Loyola University New Orleans](http://www.loyno.edu) or [Welcome to the Department of Biological Sciences | College of Humanities + Natural Sciences | Loyola University New Orleans](Department of Biological Sciences | College of Humanities + Natural Sciences).

Good luck with making a decision!
