CS Major - Howard or WMU?

Hi! I’m from Bangladesh and I’ve been accepted to both WMU and Howard with scholarships/fin-aid. In WMU, I have to pay $1600/year for my tuition and in Howard, it’s $1200/year. I’m eligible to live off-campus at both of the unis and living cost is an important factor for me. People are telling me that WMU’s CS department is way stronger than Howard’s but Howard has better carrier opportunities and it being in Washington D.C. plays a role too. Also, Michigan is supposedly cheaper to live in than Washington D.C. Please share your opinion on what you might think is the better option here and anything else that might help me finalize my decision.

Both schools will provide you with a good CS education. Howard is definitely in a much better location, however off campus housing is pricier in the DC area. I believe DC is an ideal location for an international student, but if off campus housing costs are your main concern then WMU would be the better choice.
