CSULB vs CSUF?

Hey everyone, I’m transferring to one of these CSUs from Butte College for Fall 2016. Let me start off by saying I have already been accepted into Long Beach, but I dont want to regret not waiting for a potential ‘yes’ from Fullerton…
I am asking for some guidance as to these questions:

  1. At a 3.42 GPA, might I be able to get into CSUF at all?
  2. Based on these criteria, which school would I choose?: Exciting and vibrant location and fun/modern on-campus living
  3. Based on these two other criteria, which school would I choose in this scenario?: Comparisons of History+Creative Writing programs and tuition cost differences

They are both good schools, I’d head to LB and not look back. You are getting to the point that finding housing at Fullerton could be a challenge and classes are filling up.

Tuition is pretty similar at both
