I am going into my junior year of High school in Ohio and I was accepted into our Post-Secondary Education option where I can take college courses for high school and college credit. I scored a 24 on the ACT, which I plan to keep and not retake, and I have a 3.38 gpa. Would these credentials give me a better edge at getting into California State University, Long Beach? On average they accept 1% out of state students from all applicants, which on average, adds up to be 40 student. Could I have a good chance on being accepted? I plan to study Chemistry and Psychology before school starts to give myself a better chance of an A.
