CU Boulder, UNH, or UVM?

I have been admitted to all three schools but I cannot decide which school I want to attend..I am really looking for a good school with good education but also I want to be able to have a good time..I am from Vermont so I would get instate tuition there..and I know both CU Boulder and UNH are expensive. I am from a single parent home so I do not have a lot of money...where do you guys think I should gooo?

What about your major? I can see that money will be a problem in your case. If money is a problem and if you can’t afford the OOS tuition at Boulder and New Hampshire, it will be nice to stick with UVM.

Stay instate. You’re lucky to live in a place with a good – and fun! – state university. Going into debt to pay for undergraduate studies makes no sense and it’s a huge burden. Graduating debt-free (or with just modest loans) is very freeing, and opens up a world of opportunities when you graduate.

Also, keep in mind that if you go to Boulder, there’s a chance you won’t be able to graduate in 4 years – there have been so many cuts at CU, it’s hard for students to get all the classes they need. At Boulder you could be paying out-of-state tuition for more than 4 years. It’s just not worth it, if money is an issue.

These schools are pretty much equivalent in academic quality, so your best bet is to pick the instate option unless you get fabulous financial aid from one of the other two–and public schools rarely offer that kind of deal to out-of state students. Remember, too, that you’d have significant travel costs to add to tuition/room/board if you went out to Colorado.
