Do colleges care more about your cumulative GPA (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th) or your GPA junior and senior year?

anyone? I’d really like to know…

For admissions? They don’t see your senior year on your application because it hasn’t happened. They want to see a challenging senior year curriculum if that is what you have been doing all along.

what if my school sends first quarter senior grades? Because that’s what it does…

That stinks. Why do they need to do that? job security for the guidance assistant. Quarter grades get rolled in at the end for a final grade and what you get as a final grade may not be what you got first quarter (it could go either way). You didn’t indicate whether this was a good thing in your mind or a bad thing. I think colleges will look at your end of year grades and the cumulative to the end of junior year.

well it’s a bad thing…i got my first B in AP Calc…and I just don’t want them to see that as a reflection of my whole year grade.
