Want to help out the curious high school students about to attend NYU soon! I am Co-Concentrating in Finance & Economic Theory and I am pursuing a joint Minor in Computer Science & Math.
I am pursuing a career in Investment Banking. Ask me any questions you may have about classes, dorming, night life, interning, the students, or anything else on your mind.
Hey, I have heard from many people that it isn’t possible, but I just want to make sure.
I got accepted into Tandon School of Engineering, but was wondering if there was any chance at all that I could double major in Tandon and Stern? I was wondering if you had heard about this from faculty or friends at your time at NYU…
Like, if there is any chance, this would heavily impact my decision.
Thanks!
Hi, I was accepted into Stern and wanted to know if it is common for people to major in finance as an undergraduate then later pursue a career in corporate law?
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer questions.
Hey, how hard is it to major in Finance & Economic Theory and minor in Computer Science & Math. This seems to be the path that I want to take (minus the Economic Theory). Do you get much free time? Do you have to take classes in the summer?
Thank you very much.
@hihi123123 I had this same question when applying to NYU this year. Like you I was planning to apply to Tandon for computer science because I am a STEM person but I also wanted to pursue finance. I emailed them and was informed that you are unable to do a double major with Stern. I believe you would need to transfer in which is very hard.
