I’m not sure if this thread is still being visited by the OP, but I’m considering applying ED to Tisch next year (I am currently finishing my junior year in high school) and have a few questions, if the OP will oblige me.

As far as the admissions/audition process goes (and I know that this is a slippery slope, so bear with me), could you perhaps share your audition story? Did you apply ED or RD? I’m in the process of narrowing down my choices for monologues right now and would love to have some insight as to the “vibe” of the auditions, so to speak.
Furthermore, would you reccommend applying ED or RD? I’m strongly leaning towards ED right now, because I am 100% sure that NYU Tisch is the place for me (I’m bleeding Violet, as they say!) but I have also heard that the ED round of auditions are more difficult. Is there any truth to this?
And my last question about the audition process (I promise!): What sort of questions should we expect at the interview portion of our audition? Do you have any hints/tips, etc for this portion?

Also, on a slightly unrelated note, what’s your take on the dorms that are most convienantly located compared to the Tisch studio locations?

I’m so sorry if I’m making you write a novel, or if these questions are somewhat unwelcome now that the application process for this year has come to a close, but I am deeply curious and deeply dedicated to gaining admissions to Tisch next year! Thank you in advance.
