So I registered for classes today (still waiting for Cat 5 arts/letters to open up) but I was wondering if any of you had heard about some of the classes I'm taking.
For cat 5 I'm still deciding between Modern Russian Art and Classics in Greek Philosophy and Lit or perhaps Magical Realism in Latin Am Lit.
For cat 1 I picked COLT 150 (origins of western lit/culture) and while the course description seemed really interesting, there's not a lot of people signed up (only 6 out of 50 spots).

Thanks in advance for any input, and hopefully you all had an easy time registering for classes :)

I'm in Russian Art...TAKE IT! Bowlt is an awesome professor, hw is a weekly one-page dbl spaced essay on the most absurd of topics that one can think of, very easy grader (I should have gotten a C or D on our midterm from last week, but he gave me a B+!). There is absolutely no reading necessary, although he does give us chapters in the book for reference. The material is very interesting; it's more like a history class. The bad thing is that we have a 15 pg term paper to write, but there is no final exam! :)
