D in Unrequired Class Senior Year

I got a C 1st semester in Spanish 3, but currently this semester I am getting a D. I am trying to raise it but I need to know if the California State Universities would let one D slide senior year.

I'm looking at San Jose and Monterey Bay and have gotten B grades all throughout high school. Would these schools rescind my admission with one D?

Thanks.

Anyone at all?

You should definitely call if you know you will be getting a D. A D definitely does not bode well in your favor.

Can you look on their websites and see what they require? I bet you’ll be ok, but you still have time to raise the grade.

you won’t be rescinded, I promise. look up rescind rates at top schools – they are absurdly low. get arrested and/or don’t graduate, then we may have a different story.

that being said if you have a series of other low grades (C’s, D’s, etc) you might get a “warning” letter from the college. But I honestly doubt it because the UC’s are so big.
