"Sat math - 650

"

and you got in? even my 9th grade brother got that... wow... is your family really poor, in a bad neighborhood, and your parent never been to college? You are a lucky lad ;)

SAT are SATs, unless you've done prep work you'll be looking around average at best...1300/1600

math 610, reading 670, writing 640(i think) (dont remember sat IIs, but just a little lower than my SAT Is) (it's best to take SAT II test right after you take the subject/class, not when you find out Cornell requires them!!!)

aps: world(3), us history(3), english lang(3), spanish lang(5), art history(3), bio(3)...took calcAB, 3years comp sci and also eng lit but didnt do well in those tests...

1st generation mex-american

ghettoest high school in houston area (27/400 with 3.5unweighted gpa, weighted was 4.xx)

ILR regular decision...got denied at Harvard and Rice...accepted at Tulane, St.Johns, FIU, UT

Wow. I thought Cornell had higher standards.

I'm sure I would not have gotten into the CAS but ILR has a higher admissions rate (just like tulane and UT)

but it also depends on who you are and where you come from...like my specs are one of the highest and rare at my school (note the ghetto high school from houston)

I don't think that's necessarily true; I'm sure lots of intelligent kids score well on their SATs without ever touching a prep book

I never prepped and managed a 2130

hinmanCEO: umm that was harsh...
