Damn! That Felt Good!

Today, I mailed the final tuition payment to the university where my son, a senior, is finishing his last semester. I appreciate that he applied for and was awarded some nice chunks of scholarship money, making that last check a little less painful to write out. But truth be told, I’m proud that my husband and I were able to help with his college costs; he will end up with less than $9,000 in student loans to pay back. I feel pretty good about that.

Just like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer, eh? Congrats! I’ve still got a looooooooonnnnnggggg way to go.

We’re counting the minutes, Miller514. And then they tell you they’re applying to medical school….

They can borrow to go to med school

Congratulation! OP

So happy for you! Can’t see the light in our tunnel yet, but in May will be halfway done for our D.

One down! One child to go…

Jealous! I have one half-way done and one ready to go next year. So that’s 12 more semesters of tuition for us. We don’t quite see the light at the end of the tunnel yet!

Congrats!

I’ll never forget what my father said when I graduated from medical school. My sister completed her MBA that same year. He looked at us with a big smile and said, “I feel like I just got a huge raise!!”

Congratulations. I have 7 semesters left, including this one. I am green with envy.

Congrats! I made last payment also a few weeks ago. I am loving #lifeaftertuition.

Alas, we will be paying the last semester of the oldest only to start the first semester of the youngest.
