Haha... we were trying to get in... haha.. but since alas... it wasn't meant to be... We're migrating west? to Cornell... haha lol.

Sigh, rejected.

nobody got in? we need some good news here...

rejected...

i haven't been posting here but i was rejected as well

I heard housing issues are getting even worse...very few students will get in

rejected...

I wonder if the acceptance rate was lower than last year....

Yowzers!!! Holy Sunburn

Pierre Marie - Congrats on Oxford, by the way!! I wish you the best of luck, and will speak to you soon, when I return from an intense heatwave.

no good news here?
it seems the acceptance rate is pretty low.
best luck to everybody!

sounds like we all got shafted in to $75 rejection letters

for those who are waitlisted, do you think it would be helpful to send them additional personal statement and/or spring grades?

Hi
ill b going to a small (not so known) liberal arts college rt now. if i get my stats ..SATa and gpa's great...how difficult will it b for me to get into a great skool like dartmouth thru transfer???? is it even worth trying??!! i hope it is!..but will i stand a chance against those who r already enrolled in top colleges even id i do gr8 in coll???
im an international seeking aid ! :(
please help!

hi,dUHH!! I'm an intl' student and I asked for financial aid (actually quite a lot). dartmouth is turning need-blind to international transfer students, so it's definitely worth trying.

I got butt raped too, errrr, I mean rejected. A dream shattered. There's always Tuck for my MBA :)

to vickywang89,
have you heard from dartmouth?i want to apply to dartmouth in 09 fall as sophomore.quite tough^^whatever, give it a shot.
to duhh,
absolutely dartmouth worth trying!i gonna try it too

to gobackto2005: yea,I got waitlisted, but i really expect a rejection in the end...anyway, good luck to you!

stewart, thank you so much! i am pretty set on going there, although Dartmouth still holds a special spot in my heart...

to all waitlisted applicants, I just called the office to ask how many applicants were waitlisted... and the lady told me she's not at liberty to give out the exact number, but that there's "quite a number of waitlisted (transfer) applicants," and that there were no applicants admitted off the transfer waitlist last year. I still try to be the most optimistic I possibly could, but...

vicky, I'm going to send in my spring grades--I'm still contemplating whether or not to send in a personal statement...

by the way, there are at least 3 CC posters accepted to Dartmouth this year... good news is neither of them is going :)

good luck to everyone here.
but, this is dartmouth.the acceptance is never high.
expect good news here.
